In this episode, the Crew goes behind the scenes with award-winning author Tim Brady to discuss his latest non-fiction novel, THREE ORDINARY GIRLS.
Tim Brady has more than 25 years of experience as a professional writer. He has written narrative histories, corporate histories, institutional histories and more than 200 articles for a wide range of magazines and journals. He has written for a number of college, university, and university departmental publications through the years and does book reviews for the Mpls. Star Tribune. For years he has written on the history of the University of Minnesota for the U of M's Minnesota Magazine---over sixty features through the years. He also writes for the University of Wisconsin alumni magazine, the U.S. Naval Academy alumni magazine, as well as Macalester and Carleton College.
Tim has written and helped develop a number of television documentaries and created an award-winning Web site for PBS.org. He helped develop the Peabody Award-winning series, Liberty! The American Revolution for PBS and co-wrote Minnesota: A History of the Land, which won a Regional Emmy for Documentary writing. He has also written documentaries for the University of Minnesota, including A Tribute to Norman Borlaug.
